The Backer is determined by which side the ball comes down. The opposite side HIGH DEFENDER will be the backer, and will remain the backer until that possession is done and we either make a save, cause a turn over, or they score. The HIGH DEFENDER will make the call ( trigger word ) when everyone is back in on the 8M and we will get into the backer zone from there. The on ball defender will then step out and pressure ball and the backer will be a few feet behind backing her up.
